QEMIST and NICOTHEGODDESS The Green Room at Crosstown Arts Friday, December 3, 2021 Doors at 7pm; Show at 7:30pm Tickets $10 Qemist is a multi-faceted electronic artist from Memphis, TN with a wide range of production and music creation techniques. Having toured and performed at festivals like Deep Tropics and SXSW, Qemist has been met with outstanding review for his heady club mixes and melodic, refreshingly lounge style productions. NicoTheGoddess is a singer/songwriter and classical violist from North Little Rock, AR. Being classically trained in viola and voice, NicoTheGoddess has utilized those talents to ultimately create her own unique signature in alternative R&B music. As artists both featured in the Crosstown Against The Grain series, together they create a fusion performance exploring a soundscape in which they have been able to blend deep, lush melodies with crisp, forward electronic implementation. They continue to expand on this soundscape and intertwine both electronic music and alternative R&B together for a truly unique sonic experience. Crosstown Arts is a contemporary arts organization dedicated to further cultivating the creative community in Memphis. We provide resources and create opportunities and experiences to inspire, support, and connect a diverse range of creative people, projects, and audiences. The spaces and programs we manage integrate varying components of exhibition, performance, production, education, and retail.  We welcome anyone in the community to join any of our events or projects, regardless of prior experience or expertise with creative interests.
