The Western Front Association's East Coast Branch presents The First Cold War symposium at the Independence Seaport Museum in June 2021. Due to COVID, the event has been rescheduled for June 2021. Join scholars and enthusiasts of the First World War for a day of learning at the Independence Seaport Museum in Philadelphia, June 2020. The day will feature multiple speakers discussing Great War related history topics. This program commemorates the Allied intervention during the Russian Civil War in 1918-1921. Tours of the USS Olympia will be provided with living historians portraying both the American Expeditionary Forces and US Navy recreating its historic activities. Book sale and displays will also be featured. Doors open at 9:00am.
