Itinerary Day01 FAIRBANKS Description: Begin the most enchanting Tour of your life with the arrival at Fairbanks, Alaska, the most magical place on Earth. Today you can have the day to yourself. So, explore the Fairbanks downtown before setting out on the Northern Lights Hunting in the latter part of the evening. Meet & greet the fellow traveler and the tour leader in the hotel lobby by late afternoon – evening. Activities Included: Northern lights hunting Accommodation: Hotel in Fairbanks Day02 ALASKA PIPELINE - MUSEUM Description: Begin the day with a healthy breakfast at the hotel and then set out on the excursions of the day. Visit the Alaska Museum of the North, which is one of the most excellent museums in Alaska. Admire the abstract igloo-and-aurora structure of the building and examine the geological, historical, and unusual exhibits at the museum gallery. Follow through with a drive along the Dalton Highway make a stop at Trans-Alaska Pipeline to know read and know more about the construction. Later get ready for a wonderful hike to Wickersham Dome summit, is a 7 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Fairbanks, Alaska that features a great forest setting and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking and cross country skiing and is best used from June until October. Later visit the beautiful ice museum and then soak yourself in the hotspring to catch a glimpse of the vibrant Northern lights in the velvety night sky. Watch out for the grizzly bears, moose, wolves, caribou, and Dall sheep at the national park and go on short hiking excursions too.
