Dig a trench 18" deep, 12" wide, and 115' linear feet around the foundation of a building in hard clay soil using a jackhammer. Wheelbarrow, fill in, and compact 15 cubic yards of drain rock (about 70 wheelbarrows full). Wheelbarrow, fill in, and compact 25 cubic yards of dirt (about 115 wheelbarrows full). Each wheelbarrow run will be an average of roughly 60 feet. This is a dirty and muddy job.
