WATERFORD, CT — The former Macy's property at the Crystal Mall has been sold to a Tennessee company for $4 million, according to The New London Day. The 120,680-square-foot store closed nine months ago. Town officials said the new owners have not revealed any plans for the property, according to The New London Day. Simon Property Group currently owns the largest portion of the mall and surrounding land. Macy's has plans to close as many as 45 of its stores this year.
