Take a stroll through holiday history in West Chester, PA. At the end of the tour, enjoy a festive libation to get into the holiday spirit! Explore 200 years of Christmas tradition in West Chester borough on this 60 minute walking tour. We'll visit West Chester's early churches, department stores and cultural sites, learning about what "Christmas" meant to the people of West Chester from the late 1700s to the early 1900s. At the end of the tour we will toast the season with a festive libation! Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time. Each tour will be held entirely outdoors, but masks are required at all times and social distancing will be enforced. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Distance covered will be approximately 1.5 miles; sidewalks can be slippery and uneven. Ticket fees benefit the mission of the Chester County History Center and are nonrefundable.
