Male Lead Vocalist Needed for Established Classic Rock Band

Well-established and well-known south bay area/peninsula classic rock band seeks a strong, experienced male lead vocalist. Our lead singer for the past 17 years is relocating out of state, but the rest of us plan to keep on playing! We cover all the best classic rock hits from bands like Journey, Styx, Bon Jovi, Foreigner, Boston, Steely Dan, Van Halen and more with a few country-rock and contemporary rock tunes thrown in for variety. High energy dance and party music and we try to pick songs that people love and respond to and that are at the same time interesting, challenging and not overplayed by other bands. So, you get it: a strong, high vocal range is a prerequisite. Front man experience and personality is highly desired but is not absolutely essential. We all have day jobs so we look to play ~20 gigs per year, rehearse about twice per month, cover the songs closely but with some added flair. We pay particular attention to vocal arrangements with strong three-part (and some four-part) harmonies. We are a very professional band, and our gigs range from local higher end clubs to summer community outdoor concerts to corporate events and private parties. We have a loyal following and a very strong repertoire that we continuously refine - but we are open to expanding the song list depending on the vocalist! Our players are seasoned pro-caliber level musicians, having played in well-known local bands for more several decades.
