Description
The Roaring 20s are in full swing--a flapper is found shot to death outside the Half Moon Club! Help us solve this dastardly murder! The Roaring 20s are in full swing, giving birth to the rise of jazz music, flappers and, with the end of the war, a renewed feeling of hope and joviality. It’s the era of prohibition, and organized crime is at an all-time high. The Half Moon Club is one of just two Speakeasys in town, fighting prohibition by serving alcohol illegally and offering patrons the type of fun that can’t be had when the sun is up. Despite the constant threat of a raid, business at The Half Moon Club is lucrative, as men and women stream through the doors each night. When a flapper is found shot to death outside the club, the management and loyal patrons of The Half Moon Club scramble to identify the killer before the police catch wind of the killing and shut down the juice joint for good! Join us for an evening of suspense via Zoom on Saturday, February 20, 2021. Help us solve this dastardly murder! Tickets are $20 per person and will go on sale to the public on January 4, 2021. We're limiting this event to 50 people, so don't wait too long to get your tickets! HINT: Tickets to our events go on sale to members of the Plymouth Historical Museum two weeks before they're available to the public (in this case tickets go on sale December 21, 2020). Ensure your spot as a sleuth by joining us here. After you purchase your tickets, you will be sent further information about the murder mystery, along with an invitation to the Zoom event. Please don't share the information with others. On the day of the event, when you join the Zoom meeting, you will enter a waiting room. Those with tickets will be allowed to join the Zoom call. This is a fundraiser for the Plymouth Historical Museum, at a time when our income from admissions and events has been drastically reduced. The small fee charged with your ticket price goes entirely to Eventbrite; we only receive the actual cost of the tickets. We appreciate your support! This Murder Mystery is sponsored by C.L. Finlan & Son Insurance (www.finlan.com).
