Greenwich To Ease Mask Policy At Town Hall

GREENWICH, CT — With COVID-19 cases remaining low and the vaccine now available for a broader swath of the population, the Town of Greenwich will be lifting its mask policy at Town Hall. Beginning Monday, Nov. 8, visitors and employees will no longer be required to wear a mask, but they're encouraged to wear one if they feel comfortable doing so, according to the town. Additionally on that date, Town Hall will resume normal meeting room set-up, and all social distancing requirements will be eliminated. Conference rooms will be fully open for meetings All department doors will remain fully open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to allow for walk-in service, but appointments are still allowed and encouraged during business hours. The town noted that any adjustments will be reevaluated, and could change depending on "needs and conditions."
