CONNECTICUT — Entering last Saturday's showdown on the gridiron between Darien and St. Joseph, each team was undefeated and had received first-place votes from members of the Connecticut sports media. After a convincing 42-14 victory, the Blue Wave earned the top nod from all 22 panelists in the latest weekly poll.
