Do you have skills and experience in maintenance and repair? Are you looking for additional income for the upcoming holiday season and beyond? Well, you’re in luck! Eco Movers is looking to offer opportunities for side work to local handymen and maintenance workers in the greater Seattle area and the regions surrounding it! Jobs range as far north as Everett and as far south as Federal Way and Tacoma, though we are looking to fill multiple positions to ensure coverage areas are manageable. We are seeking handymen to assist us with resolving the occasional damages that occur during the moves we perform for our customers. Repairs could include the following: -Wall patching -Floor patching -Furniture repair -Trim -Door repair and/or replacement -Miscellaneous patch and repair work Jobs would be offered as-needed through email and paid based on experience. Handymen would be responsible for reaching out to the customer in question, setting up an appointment, going out to evaluate and potentially apply a fix to the damage that occurred. In cases where repair would not be possible, the handyman would then refer the issue back to Eco Movers via an email to us advising of the circumstances. We are looking for the following from candidates: -Good customer service communication -Licensed in artisan furniture repair. -At least 2-5 years minimum experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role -Reasonable schedule availability to set up appointments with our customers at a time convenient to them. -Able to receive and communicate by electronic means, such as email and texting. -Additional licensing or skills (e.g. carpet cleaning, upholstery repair, full floor repair, leather, etc.) not required but are a plus. Some expanded skills may require additional arrangements for payment (e.g.full floor repair would likely be paid out at a higher rate, to be determined based on skill and experience), however Eco Movers is flexible in this regard.
