Description
CHICAGO — The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation is gearing up for "Operation Santa" on Dec. 11 and Dec. 12, when Santa and Mrs. Claus will ride in a CPD Motorcade to visit the homes of 20 families of officers who were killed or catastrophically injured in the line of duty.
The holiday season can be a trying time for those who have lost a loved one, but through Operation Santa, CPMF is able to bring financial support, personally selected gifts, and much-needed joy to the families of officers.
Citizens are invited to be a part of Operation Santa by contributing to this special occasion. Make a donation and help CPMF remind the families of Chicago's fallen and catastrophically injured police heroes that they will never be forgotten, especially during the holiday season.
Since 2007, total amount of assistance given to Chicago police families in need is $15.6 million. To make a donation to Operation Santa, visit the CPMF website.
