NORTHPORT, AL — Northport will see its newest grocery store officially open on Friday in the former location of Save-A-Lot. The location marks the first in Alabama for the discount grocery store chain as it opens its doors in Buford Plaza, where it shares the building with the Salvation Army Thrift Store.
