JOB SUMMARY: The Stockperson will be the keeper of merchandise integrity and thrives in a fast-paced environment, is self-motivated and committed to providing outstanding customer service every day. As our business needs change, the Stockperson will be flexible, shifting their time between job responsibilities/functions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Work in the eye of the storm, keeping the stockrooms and sales floor organized, re-stocked and tidy * Be the keeper of the merchandise, completing all inventory processes and making sure merchandise is properly checked in and is accurately ticketed * Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments in accordance with our inventory control processes * Accurate and efficient use of mobile and handheld devices * Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms * Provide general support to the store, e.g. set up special events, organize backroom, markdowns, and relocate store fixtures CORE COMPETENCIES: * Customer Focus: Builds strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions. * Drives Results: Persists in accomplishing objectives, even under tough circumstances. QUALIFICATIONS: * Have a high school diploma, or equivalent (preferred) * Ability to work a flexible schedule which may include day, overnight, and evening shifts based on business needs * Prior shipping and receiving experience (preferred) * Inventory management systems experience (preferred) * Demonstrate ability to use a variety of technology (e.g. PC, iDevices) and new computer applications * High level of ownership, accountability and initiative * Strong organizational, math and written communication skills * Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers * High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment * Ability to problem-solve * Able to work independently or as part of a team * The ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds * The ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs (most common shifts start early morning, with some stores needing overnight)
