Professional stand-up comedy company is seeking an individual to help market, organize, promote, and run local stand-up comedy shows throughout San Diego. Join our growing team and learn from professionals! Some tasks would include: Handing out tickets/flyers before the event, help set up/take down the sound and light equipment, checking customers in to the show, along with some light administrative duties. Not paid, but you will gain experience in promotions/marketing and the art of stand-up comedy. If you are interested in learning/performing stand-up this is a great opportunity as some stage time may be available. You will also be able to learn from multiple professional stand-up comedians on how comedy works. MUST have reliable transportation, and be willing to work some Thursday/Friday/Saturday evenings. Social media experience and loving stand-up comedy is a plus!
