Seeking highly detail-oriented, consistent worker for inventory and order management in a large online book business. 1099-misc position, pay is initially $20/hr provided targets are met and work is consistent, swift, and accurate. Growth to commission and per unit for workers who show strong promise. Available immediately. Must be able to lift 50 pound boxes and have consistent and reliable transportation, and be able to show up on site in Kearny Mesa daily without exception m-f 9-5. Tasks include Daily order pulling Shelf building and positioning Refilling boxes with inventory listed to a google spreadsheet Purging books from a list and indicating this on a google spreadsheet, and taking the purges with you daily for donation or disposal Looking up books that have gone astray and getting them back in the right box using our inventory management software General listing duties when those projects are complete, using our tested system. We have been in business for almost 20 years and are one of the larger book businesses in the country. Must be extremely detail oriented and able to tolerate repetitive and sometimes boring tasks. Work is very solid and transition to listing per unit at higher average per hour rate available for the strong performer after the major projects are done. Must have laptop and phone/hot-spot to tether it to for internet. Must be computer literate to use google spreadsheets, inventory management software, and be able to enter data accurately, swiftly, and consistently. Must have a bank account that will accept payment through "Zelle" (Most major banks do) Send resume and short explanation why you think you are a fit, with email and phone number in the first email to us.
