Hello to the wonderful community of Oceanside! My name is JD Martinez (Flawless Zinc Plating) and I am posting here to give all the amazing people of Oceanside a very unique opportunity to give back to the perfect town we call home! I recently aquired a good bit of the furniture from the iconic Ruby's location at the end of the pier with the plan to put it all to good use so that this amazing restaraunt that gave us so many great memories can continue living on! I am currently working on restoring this furniture to look great in any home and selling it off to the highest bidder and the proceeds will be disbursed to multiple charities around Oceanside! I am essentially trying to clean up the rust and debris from everything and putting a fresh coat of paint on them and zinc plating the hardware to protect from our beautiful salty air. All of this furniture is 50's style diner booths, tables, chairs, high chairs, and barstools and I guarantee that this is all from this specific Ruby's location (proof available). With restoring it, I am aiming to keep it looking as original as possible but I will do different paint colors if anyone would like that. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I am currently working on one barstool, one high chair, and two chairs and have some before and after pictures. I would love to get the big booths done this weekend as well that comes with 2 tables.
