Must have the following: Safety Oriented Dependable/Reliable Team Player Certified Diesel Mechanic - Heavy truck, equipment & diesel engines Computer Skills Time Management/Organization & Problem Solving Skills Job Responsibilities: Inspect and repair vehicles with diesel engines - and perform quality repairs and maintenance on all Heavy Truck and Diesel Engines Handle routine repairs, including oil and tire changes Interpret diagnostic test results Write detailed inspection reports and repair plans Collaborates with other diesel mechanics and has strong interpersonal skills Advise clients on repair options and costs - Strong Customer Skills Able to read work orders to evaluate the tasks required Completes test drives to make sure vehicle runs smoothly Inspect vehicle systems including suspension, steering & exhausts Repair or replace vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines and other associated parts Complete oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment and brake checks Knowledge of A/C system, brake system, emission systems, air systems, and diagnostics/troubleshooting of diesel engines and trailer assemblies Maintain records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles Diesel repair and maintenance experience in a heavy truck/DOT Compliance MUST have valid driver's license with clean driving record Must be able to pass drug test & MVR check Competitive Pay - DOE Health/Dental/Vision Insurance 401(k) Profit Sharing Monday thru Friday
