Our ceramics company is looking for an experienced Shipping Manager and Packers to help process and ship our orders. An ideal candidate would be a self-motivated and hard worker, with great time management skills. Fast-paced and positive environment. The Shipping Manager will pack orders and prepare them to be shipped. They must inspect the items to ensure that they’re not damaged or missing any parts, and finally package them according to specifications. This person must be knowledgable on every step of the shipping process including international and freight. The Packer will assist the Shipping Manager is packaging up all goods so that they are ready to be shipped. Responsibilities: - Packing ceramic goods - Checking for accuracy of contents - Packing orders quickly, safely, and efficiently - Creating shipping labels for all orders through Shopify and e-commerce platforms - Coordinating with UPS/Fedex, schedule pickups - Making sure shipping area is organized and stocked with supplies - Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts receivables Requirements: - Must have at least 3-5 years of experience using Shopify and other e-commerce platforms - Must have at least 3-5 years of experience using UPS/Fedex to create labels and schedule pickups - Must have at least 3-5 years of knowledgable in shipping internationally as well as LTL freight shipping - Strong organizational and communication skills - Must be good at working independently with little supervision (very important) - Able to lift 50 lb+ - Big plus if you have experience packing fragile goods Located in DTLA.
