We have an exciting opportunity for an Intern to join our team at Color Outside the Lines to help us sustain and expand our current art program for underserved youth! WHO WE ARE: Color Outside the Lines is a non-profit that strives to empower and inspire foster and at-risk youth by providing opportunities with art, music, movement, and creativity. We believe that all children should have the opportunity to grow creatively, no matter their background. We provide creative workshops and art experiences in joyful, healing, and developmentally engaging environments. Color Outside the Lines serves foster youth with the Department of Human Services and partners with youth at the Native American Youth Association, Friends of the Children and CASA. THE ROLE: We have an exciting opportunity for an Intern to join our team at Color Outside the Lines, to help us sustain and expand our current art program for underserved youth. You will be working directly with the Director to assist in marketing, social media projects, grant research, building art-kits for foster youth, collaborative art projects, mural production with youth, and more. You will learn nonprofit administration and how to serve youth who have experienced trauma through the gift of art and creativity. This role will mostly be remote until further notice, however there will occasionally be in-person requirements, such as picking up art supplies, building art kits, or attending mural events. We understand there may be scheduling conflicts at times and aim to be flexible and collaborative. Hours per week are also flexible, but you can expect 5-15 hours per week for a 4- or 6-month commitment. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Artist of all kinds!
