Description
We have a Great Dane puppy that needs a perfect family and home. He's new to us and would have been with us forever, but we didn't know my wife would be allergic.
He's currently about 75 pounds and only 7 months old. A fully grown Great Dane will stand about 32 inches tall and could weigh up to 175 pounds. He is un-neutered which ensures he will reach his maximum growth potential. He is not microchipped. He has no known hip or other known health issues common to his breed.
He's a great dog, a little shy, but playful goofy when he warms up to you. He's curious around other dogs. It's unknown how he is around cats. I've sensed no aggression in him, but because of his size, caution should be observed around smaller pets and children.
He appears to be house trained and hasn't had any accidents since we've had him, but he's still a puppy and I can't promise he won't. He has the concept of basic commands and a leash, but with the attention span of a toddler, he hasn't quite mastered training. He's calm in a vehicle and doesn't get car sick, but he does need convincing to get in.
His perfect home would have a large enclosed yard, loving family with large breed experience, plenty of time to be with him and continue his training.
He's current with his vaccines and tag and would come with his most recent veterinarian paperwork. A rehoming fee does apply to recover animal and supply costs. Also included: Sport Dog training collar, Petrainer electronic training collars, Neater Feeder raised bowls, walking leash, collar, walking harness, 50 foot training leash, dog bed and some toys.
If you're interested in this beautiful dog, please email. I really want to find him a great home. Please, tell me about yourself in your introduction. This isn't going to be a first come-first served transaction. He's only going to the best home and family. Thanks, in advance.
