Maintenance / Janitorial The Greyhound Park and Event Center is now looking to fill a maintenance/janitorial position to work closing and opening shifts. Daily tasks include but are not limited to: • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. • Gather and empty trash. • Service, clean, and supply restrooms. • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors. • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing, and electrical systems. • Steam-clean and shampoo carpets. • Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours. • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies. • Mow and trim lawns and shrubbery, using mowers and hand and power trimmers, and clear debris from grounds. • Notify management concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. • Snow removal. • Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. • Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facility for events such as banquets and meetings. • Spray insecticides to prevent insect and rodent infestation. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be 18 years or older. Smoking Facility. Experience required.
