We're looking for an exceptional operations associate to provide outstanding customer service, manage our in-home rug and furniture deliveries for our clients, assist our sales team with client appointments in store, keep our showroom clean and organized and provide warehouse support for our retail and wholesale divisions. Daily Tasks: *Shipping/Receiving *Furniture and Rug Delivery *Cleaning and Maintenance – Vacuuming/Bathrooms/Trash/Recycling/Dusting *Flipping Rugs for Clients *Tracking Inventory – Tagging/Organizing *Inventory maintenance – Vacuuming rugs *Managing Supplies and Re-Ordering *Organizing showroom and warehouse *Helping with events and special projects as needed Qualifications and Requirements * Highschool diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years professional experience preferred. *Previous work experience in a luxury retail environment or furniture store setting preferred. *Must have reliable means of transportation and a clean driving record. *Must be prompt and reliable – We are a small team that relies on consistency. *Must be physically able to lift 85 pounds and previous experience with moving and delivering furniture and/or rugs a plus. Physical strength and fitness are required for days when shipments arrive and are more physically strenuous. * Proven ability to manage projects and learn to master the tasks at hand * Competitive drive and entrepreneurial confidence * Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and coworkers * Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about home industries * Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes * Strong organizational and follow-through skills. Detail oriented data entry is paramount. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – Polite and courteous * Experience with high-end clientele a plus * High level of ownership, accountability and initiative * Strong computer skills a must - Proficient in Microsoft Excel a plus Schedule 40-hour work week – Monday – Friday 9:30am-5:30pm Some evening and/or weekend availability is required for special projects or events on a very limited basis. Compensation and Benefits This is a competitive salary-based position and compensation will be commensurate with experience. Ten days paid vacation and two days paid sick leave. The Company provides a 401k plan, which is available to all employees after one year of service.
