Pilatus is hiring a Fabrication Technician to join the 2nd shift of our aircraft completions team in Broomfield, CO. You will be working with top-of-the-line materials and soft goods to construct the customized interior furnishings that go into our market-leading business aircraft, the PC-12 NGX single engine turboprop and the PC-24 Super Versatile Jet. Training will originate on the 1st shift with a transfer to the 2nd shift upon completion. Essential Duties/Responsibilities - Performs incoming inspections of materials including fabric, foam, leather, ultra-leather & vinyl - Measures, marks, and cuts materials to drawings and work instructions - Bonds materials using various processes and adhesives - Applies and finish wraps materials to composite and kydex interior panels - Sews leather and other finish materials prior to application - Maintains labor tracking and job card/task sign-offs within ERP/MRP system - Follows safety policies and uses required personal protective equipment in accordance with company and government regulations and guidelines Requirements - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. - One (1) year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience - Ability to use hand tools, adhesive spray gun, industrial sewing machine and/or other specialized equipment - Ability to use measuring tools and perform basic math computations - Ability to read, understand and adhere to engineering drawings, tech specs and other relevant documents - Eye for precision and attention to details What We Offer - 11 paid holidays a year, plus 2 weeks of paid vacation time, and 1 week of paid personal time to start with an increase to 3 weeks of paid vacation time after 5 years with Pilatus - 90% of medical, dental, and vision premiums paid for single coverage and 80% for family coverage, averaging $9,600 annually - Monthly health savings account (HSA) contributions totaling $2,250 for single coverage and $3,000 for family coverage annually - 401(k) retirement plan matching up to 6% - Life and long-term disability insurance premiums paid in full - Annual employee incentive award program based on the achievement of certain business and individual performance goals - Tuition assistance available annually after the first year - Hiring range of $20.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience plus a shift differential Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data Pilatus Business Aircraft Ltd was founded in Broomfield, Colorado in 1996.
