Our work environment includes: Casual work attire On-the-job training Lighting Installer Classification Non- Exempt Salary Grade $15/hour starting Reports to Manager JOB DESCRIPTION Responsible for the installation of all new lighting systems. This is for Low Voltage lighting, no electrical license needed. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Open Trenches and Lay Conduit Lay Hundreds of feet of wire and complete connections Connect and Install new Fixtures with correct bulbs Install fixtures based on design provided by Sales Person Climb Ladders up to Second Story and tall Trees Troubleshoot on the Spot in needed Masonry Experience a plus Work with Landscape Architects, Builders, etc on the job site when changes are needed Competencies Detail Oriented Thoroughness Punctual/Time Management Customer/Client Focus Tidy Work Environment This job operates in the outside elements - heat, cold, and light rain. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is required to be able to climb ladders, work on the ground for hours, lift heavy objects up to 35 pounds, dig trenches, lay wire and conduit. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday, day starts at 7:30AM and ends when they job is done. Hours may vary depending on the weekly schedule. Must have reliable transportation to get to office by 7:30AM. Preferred Education and Experience Some knowledge of Low Voltage Lighting is preferred, but not required. Other Duties You may be asked to assist the Service Technician when there is a job that needs an extra hand or schedule permitted, keep your work van cleaned and organized, ensure what you need for the day is ready to go the next day.
