Job Description Summary The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in a shop environment. This individual will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of class 7 and 8 trucks, backhoes, and specialty equipment. There will be a $500 sign on bonus after 60 days as well another $500 sign on bonus after 180 days. Responsibilities Coordinates the workflow and overseas work of the shop technicians on 2nds shift Works directly with the 1st shift lead technician and Fleet maintenance manager to ensure equipment is work ready for the next day Responsible for coordinating and ensuring preventative maintenance and services are completed on schedule Responsible for ensuring all driver write ups are addressed and DOT and safety items are repaired prior to leaving the shop Maintains accurate repair and service records of equipment during the shift Assists shop technicians in all aspects of diagnostics and repairs Assist in repairs of all equipment Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed Requirements Valid driver’s license CDL A, preferred At least 3 years’ experience of fleet maintenance Diesel / heavy equipment mechanic experience At least 1 year of experience in a maintenance shop leadership role Must have own tools Ability to lift up to 75 lbs periodically throughout the day What CRH Americas Offers You Highly competitive base pay Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs Group retirement savings program Health and wellness programs A culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRH Americas CRH Americas has a long and proud heritage as one of North America’s largest corporations.
