Drummer seeking to form or join band

Experienced rock drummer, 36, seeks players to form band. I have pro gear, reliable transportation, and 20 years playing experience, which includes writing songs, recording, and performing live. My background includes having played in metal bands of all types. This time around, however, I'm looking to do something different and am open to just about anything, particularly classic rock, hard rock, and blues. I am open to joining an existing project if the sound and vibe is right. However, cover bands need not contact me as that never was my thing. I am without a place to jam as I live in an apartment. I can provide links to prior projects upon request. In terms of distance, I'd prefer to not have travel any more than 30 minutes from my zip code, but, I'd be willing to make the haul should the right project come along.
