Large Breeding pair of Pink Kissing Gourami

Description

I am down-sizing my breeding program and letting this beautiful pair of Pink Kissing Gourami go to a new home. Rehoming fee: $35 (FIRM) for the pair. Would like to move another breeding pair into this tank, so they are priced half of my normal fee. These are such cute fish, especially when they pucker their lips. They kiss each other often. Calm personalities. Like to come to the glass when they are being observed. These guys made excellent tank mates when I was keeping them in a large community tank. They are non-aggressive and very mellow. They are both about 4 inches long with shimmery light pink scales. While breeding I do not feed them color-enhancing food, but rather live food, so they will get more pink on a pellet or flake enhancing diet. They can live without aeration if you have live plants and do frequent water changes. This is the way I keep them when breeding/egg laying. Otherwise they have a large filter and small air stone. Have had these 2 since they were about 1” long, which was about 3 years ago. Contact me with any questions. Can meet to pick up on Speedway and Wilmot, or I can deliver for $5 fee. Info: Pink Kissing Gourami, also known as kissing fish or kissers, are medium-sized tropical freshwater fish comprising the monotypic labyrinth fish family Helostomatidae. These fish originate from Thailand to Indonesia. They can live to 10+ years in captivity. They breed easily if they are in a large enough tank.
