Reputable Construction Company looking for a commercial drywall Superintendent to provide thorough, comprehensive supervision for Metal Framing, Drywall, and Acoustical Ceiling scopes of work. Responsibilities/Duties: • Assists in developing the project schedule • Interfaces and communicates (written and oral) with the estimating team and management as needed • Establish and maintain relationships with contractors/vendors/suppliers throughout market • Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents • Identifies change orders to Project Manager. • All Duties associated with a Superintendent as required • Other duties as assigned • Able to communicate with field staff expectations and hold them accountable. Qualifications: • Minimum of 4 plus years’ experience as a Superintendent • Experience must be with a reputable drywall firm in the commercial market • Must be familiar with construction process and inspections • Computer literate and proficient with Excel • Must be well spoken, articulate, and able to write well. Spanish speaking is a plus. • Experience with job walks, ability to climb a ladder, lift and unload heavy objects as needed. • Clean driving record.
