Need a bid for mold remediation labor. This is for a bank owned property so the pay isn't the greatest but it will be commensurate with the work to be done. Basically this will involve cutting out the bottom third/half of the drywall in infected areas so the wall studs can be vented, and scrubbing/cleaning/bleach the remainder of the walls and any infected ceiling areas. If you have access to a sawzall/router/drywall saw and you are able to clean you can do this job. You will have to bag and dispose of any debris created by the work. You will be asked to wear a mask while doing the work. Typically the estimate is based on the total square footage of the infected areas, which will we have to measure and document with photos to submit for our bid. The bid will take 2-5 days to approve. Once the work is complete it will take 2-5 business days for the bank to review and approve the payout for labor, basically a 4-10 day turnaround from start to finish, so you must be ok with waiting for that.
