We are looking for a skilled Concrete Foreman to join our team in the commercial & specialty concrete construction industry. To be successful in this position you must be able to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrate excellent management and problem-solving skills while maintaining and enforcing a safe work environment for our crews. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and knowledge as a field foreman in the concrete construction industry. Must be capable of providing upper management with input on manpower, equipment, material, and the means and methods required to complete the work safely and efficiently in accordance with drawings, specifications, and most importantly in accordance with the clients' needs. Applicants should have the following skills, knowledge, abilities: - Knowledge of concrete form setting place & finish as well as concrete repair work as well as some rebar work. - Knowledge of various forming methods, ability to operate industry-specific equipment when needed. - Ability to work with Site Supervisor(s) and customers to ensure a quality finished product. - Ability to read and follow project schedules, supervise/manage concrete crew and their on-site hours as well as track any company material on site along with any company-issued equipment. - Must be available to consistently work the employers' normal work hours and occasionally be available for overtime work, if requested and scheduled. Applicants must have verifiable references with at minimum 4-5 years of Concrete Foreman experience with recent employers. Carpentry work is preferred. Additional construction skills are a plus. Safety Minded (OSHA certification a plus). Job locations vary around Southern California and will typically be within an hour (not counting for traffic).
