We are looking for a farm hand (Guys & Gals) to assist us part time (@ 30 hours per week) at our 40 acre farm in Concord... this could also be MORE HOURS depending on your skills and availability. We need help most weekends and 3-5 weekdays. We are also willing to provide SKILLS TRAINING for the right applicant.
The ideal person would:
*Work @2 hours in the morning & @2 hours in the evening 5-7 days per week doing animal care and related chores.
*Work the remaining 30 hours doing projects and property maintenance.
*Have knowledge about animal care and feeding... chickens, donkey, dairy goats, dogs, cats, pigs.
*Know how to use zero turn mower and gas trimmer.
*Have skill operating a tractor or Bobcat.
*Have the physical ability to lift a 50lb feed bag and other materials.
*Be able to communicate effectively, dependable and an independent self-starter !
*Work in all weather conditions.
We operate a peaceful and quiet homestead property with a small number of animals. This is not a production focused farm and we are searching for someone to help us focus on the details of caring for our unique operation.
