This type of doghouse has the best water run-off of any on the market, plus it has a "porch" area for the doorway that also helps to block rain and wind. The base elevates it a little above ground which also helps to prevent water seepage and to help it temperature-wise. No chew marks, cracks, etc.and is not brittle, but would take some serious scrubbing to eliminate the dirt residue, like by using Ajax and a pot scrubber wire pad. Also could use some material installed that would prevent wind blowing into the doorway, like strips from a floor mat or something. SIZE : 38" base diameter X 44" length (from door to outside)
