Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team. Provides support and some supervision to regular and temporary warehouse associate functions. Works closely with Operations Supervisors to ensure employee productivity expectations are met. Provides a variety of responsibilities to meet the supervisors expectations. Lead Warehouse Worker Schedule - Monday-Friday from 6:45am-3:15pm with overtime expected. Pay - $19.00/hour. Major Responsibilities - Interacts with customers by phone, e-mails and conference calls, coaches and trains lower level warehouse associates on the proper execution of warehouse duties, ensures policies and procedures are followed, exhibits detailed knowledge of all warehouse roles and qualified in all aspects of warehouse operations, safely operates PE (rider pallet jack) or other machinery in order to complete tasks, works alongside and with the team, stepping in as needed to ensure maximum productivity, and responsible for planning and carrying out projects on target dates.
