Position Title: Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift Wage: $15/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 4:30pm-1:30am Sun-Thurs Do you enjoy having your mornings off and being part of a team environment? Apply today to join this growing company with great starting pay and positive atmosphere. We’re hiring for a Forklift Operator on 2nd shift. Temp to hire. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Receiving/Put-Away: unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations - Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas - Loading: efficiently stack pallets appropriately and move product from staging and or storage areas such as morning delivery trucks and the occasional customer pick up vehicles - Order picking: pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that they exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped - Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards - Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage - Report any product problems - Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift or by hand or smaller items - Use RF Scanner for picking, receiving, put away and load functions as required - Maintain the facilities equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion - Recharge batteries on forklifts or change out batteries when needed Requirements: - Lift up to 50lbs; any heavier lifting is team-lift or forklift - Able to get on and off forklift to pick and load merchandise - Able to load a stable pallet with merchandise - Place orders on delivery trucks in line with morning delivery schedules - Forklift experience preferred, but will also look at training as a "real go getter" candidate Benefits: Full benefits once hired QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with nearly 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
