Oklahoma's premiere chamber choir presents their 2021 fall concert "Remembrance". Windsong returns for its 30th season with a concert featuring music of Marcel Tyberg. A victim of the holocaust, Tyberg’s music is not yet published and is rarely performed. Windsong has secured permission from the OREL Foundation to present Tyberg’s Mass No. 1 in G major and Mass No. 2 in F major. Both masses will feature organist Joseph Arndt. A graduate of The Juilliard School (MM) and Westminster Choir College (BM), Joseph is currently the Music Director at St. John's Episcopal Church in Tulsa, OK. He is also the founder and director of the Oklahoma Bach Choir. The concert will be conducted by Jeanise Wynn, Artistic Director of Windsong.
This concert is being offered free of charge in memory of Tim Goff and Kerry Barnett. No tickets are required. Join Windsong as we celebrate their lives through this glorious music, which was lost for over 50 years.
As Oklahoma City's only semi-professional chorus, Windsong has been bringing virtuoso choral music to the heart of Oklahoma since 1991. The choir is comprised of volunteer singers from throughout Oklahoma who bring an impressive range of musical experience and expertise to the organization.
