The Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication and the Data Institute for Societal Challenges, cordially invite you to attend a guest lecture titled, "Unlocking the hidden potentials of government funding on countering disinformation" by Vilma Luoma-aho, Ph.D., visiting professor from the University of Jyväskylä in Finland.

Dr. Vilma Luoma-aho is Vice Dean for Research and Professor of Corporate Communication in the Jyväskylä University's School of Business and Economics (JSBE) at the University of Jyvaskyla in Finland. Dr. Luoma-aho has been working with the Finnish Ministry of Defense on countering disinformation efforts and has received grants from multiple agencies in Finland. She serves as Chairman for Social Science Division of MATINE, the Scientific Defense Council under the Finnish Ministry of Defense and teaches disinformation-related workshops for public authorities at the European Council in Finland.
