Let us help you make the most out of your time as a foster! We can help with current cases, new transitions and more! This Foster Education Class is just for the humans and is perfect for those who are working with a rescue to foster dogs! We will go over things like the "stages of transition", how to help your foster dog integrate into a pack more easily, coping skills with hyperstimulation and so on! The goal of this workshop is to address issues that fosters will face while providing such a valuable service for dog rescues! Some topics that we will address will be: Proper Crate Training Techniques & Games Introductions to children and things that can be concerning Tips on overcoming transitional stress When caring "too much" can become harmful And many others! Tuition for the class is $10 per person. Tickets must be purchased 24 Hours in advance! * This class is only for our human fosters. No dogs are currently invited to the class. * ****PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL NOT REMARK ON POLICIES OR PROCEEDURES OF A RESCUE. Our goal is purely to provide behavioral support for foster parents that can be translated across the board and help make fostering easier. Our goal is to build a better bond between rescue organization and foster to increase foster retention and be a supportive piece to help BOTH get dogs adoptable/adopted!
