Job Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities The company relies on the efficiency and effectiveness of our packers. We are currently seeking packers to add to our growing team in Ocala, FL, where you will quickly and accurately package items per work instructions, in accordance with standard packaging procedures, while maintaining quality standards and efficient production. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented and able to track and complete multiple facets of product packaging. By utilizing your communication skills and attention to detail, you'll help us prepare medical products for our customers and their consumers. Primary Functions Follow company packing procedures and standards Ensure ample inventory is on-hand, inspected, and packed correctly Handle inventory with care and attention to detail; Ensure product orders are packed and moved carefully Work at different stations as production requires Inspect, weigh, and package products, as needed Monitor flow of product into and out of processing machinery and/or assembly line Verify compliance with quality, safety, production standards, work rules, and efficient operation of equipment Report, record, and help track potential production issues, downtime, scrap, and quality of each machine, work area, and summarize shift data Able to meet production counts / packing quotas without sacrificing quality Maintain a clean and safe work environment Secondary Functions Adhere to safety programs and OSHA compliance for a safe work environment Follow company safety policies and procedures, and encourage other associates to do the same · Move packages containing product to the appropriate areas · Clean assigned work area, machine, auxiliary equipment, etc., in order to maintain a clean and safe working environment · Reporting any unsafe equipment or unsafe acts performed by other employees to the Team Lead or Manager · Responsible for performing other duties, as required Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $13.00 per hour
