Learn the results of a key study on the future of work. What is this NEAR normal? What are the steps needed to advance workforce equity? The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission invites MORPC members to learn the results of a key study on the workforce in Central Ohio. Our guest speaker is Tim Harman, a senior consultant at the Workforce Innovation Center. Tim is a workforce expert with over 15 years of Human Resource + Diversity, Equity & Inclusion experience. Tim has a successful track record of implementing talent acquisition, college recruiting and diversity, equity & inclusion strategies with multiple Fortune 500 companies including Lbrands, Ashland Inc and MGM Resorts International. He has also worked in education with The Ohio State University, Columbus State Community College and Groveport Madison Schools. Tim’s experience includes serving as a trusted authority on workforce with Columbus’ Regional Economic Development team to attract and retain job growth and develop workforce training across the Columbus Region. Currently, Tim's work focus is on improving individual, organization and community success in training and retaining great people. As a recipient of a JPMC Foundation grant, Tim has partnered to deliver the Columbus Region’s Workforce Equity Report which highlights historical, current and pandemic impacts across racial and ethnic categories.
