Description

Families will have the opportunity to meet Santa prior to the town center opening for a quieter, more subdued experience. The holidays are a magical time for families to experience the wonder of Santa and to create heartfelt memories together. Understanding that children with sensory sensitivities may require a more customized experience, Polaris Fashion Place will offer Sensitive Santa®, a sensory-friendly holiday event, on Dec. 5 and Dec. 12 from 9-10:30am. During Sensitive Santa, families will have the opportunity to meet Santa prior to the town center opening for a quieter, more subdued experience. This family-friendly event allows children with special needs to experience the annual magic of the holidays in safe, controlled environment, featuring alternative seating options for children taking photos with Santa, as well as muted lights, quiet music, and reduced center traffic to help lessen sensory stimuli. The event is free to attend and photographs are available for purchase. Families are encouraged to RSVP in advance by reserving a ticket. Polaris Fashion Place remains focused on providing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. In addition to our already rigorous cleaning practices, guests will also find hand sanitization stations located throughout the town center. We ask that everyone conduct themselves in a safe and respectful way in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations, recommendations and health mandates, as well as each individual retailer’s policies. Sponsored by Trumpet Behavioral Health. Polaris Fashion Place is Central Ohio’s premier shopping destination offering market-exclusive brands and locally-owned specialty shops to locals and tourists alike. Polaris Fashion Place also hosts more than 75 events a year, and the town center is home to more than 170 national and local retail, dining and entertainment options. A dynamic offering of things to do along with things to buy keeps guests engaged and returning often.
