The premier of Dr. Mark Lomax’s film will be streaming to audiences around nation and across the globe, sharing the stories captured throughout the development of Lomax’s Epic 12 Album Cycle of the same name. His musical genius tells powerful and moving stories of Black America over a 400 year period starting with the 1619 mark when the first enslaved Afrikans were brought to North America. The 70 minute viewing will be preceded by a reception and followed by a live Q&A with Dr. Lomax.
