Guitarist/Singer looking to start metal band/jam

I've been lurking on Craigslist for the last year looking for something but haven't found anything that seems suitable, so here I am making a post of my own. I'm 20, played piano for 10yr, guitar for 4yr, vocals for 2yr. I'm competent in music theory, but whether or not we'll actually care to use it at all is up in the air. Here you can find my YT channel, which showcases my playing a bit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HeIwAW5Xak Recently, I've been digging into black metal/dungeon synth, but overall, my inspirations are: Megadeth, Dream Theater, Emperor, Dissection, Avenged Sevenfold, Blind Guardian, Metallica, Alice in Chains, Area 11, DragonForce, Powerwolf, Rhapsody (of Fire), Thomas Bergersen, Danny Elfman, Grant Kirkhope, misc. video game soundtracks. I don't want to just play covers, because I want something that's actually creatively fulfilling. I'm inclined to say that I want to write music that's "fresh", but maybe that's naive, so I'll just say I want to write music that's enjoyable to me/us. I'd prefer to find a drummer to jam with, but don't be shy if you aren't. Please reply with your age, bands/artists you like (and maybe why you like them too), preferably some clips of your playing, and anything else you feel like mentioning. I don't mean to come across as pressury or whatever - I just want an overview of who your are musically.
