Messy Church is “Church, but not as you know it!” It is Christ-centered, for all ages, and based on creativity, hospitality and celebration. In November, our crafts, games, and activities will be in our fellowship hall, followed by a Celebration time in our chapel. A light meal will be served afterwards. Please enter using the door by the parking lot behind our building. November’s theme is “Sew miraculous!” As Christians, we are called to copy Jesus in order to become more like him. In this session, we will make gifts for others, think about our own selfishness and consider what gifts God has given us and how we might use them to help others. In 1 Peter 4:10, Peter himself sums up the importance of serving: ‘Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others.’ *COVID-19 Mitigation Plan (Updated Aug. 2021) When inside the building, everyone, whether vaccinated or not, must wear masks that are well-fitted.6 feet of physical distancing must be maintained by everyone, except for those who are in the same household group. Hugs and handshakes are not allowed. All are required to stay home when sick, and we ask everyone to self-check in at each entrance with our health acknowledgement poster. For more information, visit our website, or go to our Messy Church @ Ghent UMC facebook page.
