Pen in one hand, pizza in the other: kids ages 8-11 are warmly invited to an evening of drawing and writing inspired by tales of elephants! Pen in one hand, pizza in the other: kids ages 8-11 are warmly invited to experience an evening of drawing and writing inspired by tales of elephants while parents shop for the holidays or enjoy an evening out on the downtown mall! This evening workshop will include storytelling, writing prompts, creative writing individually and in groups, and drawing and illustration inspired by the children's stories. The class is taught by Claudia Reinhardt, Language Arts and Handwork teacher at Charlottesville Waldorf School. Includes elephant-sized pizza from Benny Deluca's (please bring your own if you have dietary restrictions.) Please bring a water bottle.
