We are excited to work with City Lights Gallery and the Bridgeport Art Trail this November, sharing indie short films and music videos! We are excited to be working with City Lights Gallery and the Bridgeport Art Trail this November, sharing indie short films and music videos by Connecticut locals that fit the theme of "It's Complicated" and/or "Rediscovery & Reinvention"! Join us at the NEST Arts Factory with the filmmakers who will be discussing their work after the screening. Doors at 2:30 PM. Screening starts at 3:00 PM. Tickets are free! Lineup: Codetta directed by Adaya Fiterman (11:52) Michael is a young musician who plays guitar for Nina, a well-known musician that recently got divorced. He’s also Nina’s life partner, and functions as a father to her daughter Lia, for the last year. Now Michael and Nina’s relationship is coming to an end, while they still play together. Billion Dollar Baby directed by Max Sutter (5:16) A privileged athlete takes matters into his own hands (and deep pockets) to make it to the Olympic Games. Keluarga directed by Kerey Viswanathan (4:46) "Keluarga" means "family" in the Indonesian language. This song was written to bridge the distances between us. It is dedicated to all the children of diaspora, for all the families stretched across miles - but bound together through love. The Art of Longing and Belonging directed by Stephen Emerick (5:16) Two best friends learn to let go with a little tea and a lot of love. More to be announced soon.
