An evening of reflections, spiritual poetry, recitation, good food and good company to celebrate the Prophet Muhammad, upon whom be peace.
As the Fall settles over New Haven, we also find ourselves in the Season of Love. Celebrating the Beloved of Allah has been part of how Muslims connect themselves to the character, the life and the lessons of the Prophet Muhammad, upon whom be peace.
Join us as we gather at the beautiful Pistachio Cafe to listen to reflections, spiritual poetry and song, and recitation which will make the example and life of the Prophet truly alive in our hearts. Alongside a beautiful program, special sweets, savories and beverages will be served to enjoy with other families and members of the community.
After the conclusion of the program, there will be plenty of time for sohbet, conversation and some more spiritual songs!
Space is limited - all are welcome!
There is a suggested donation of $5/person.
This special evening is presented in partnership with Muslim Life at Yale.
Pistachio Cafe is a coffeeshop and community hub in the heart of New Haven's Westville Arts District.
