Meet Glock! Age: 1 year. Breed: Lab/cattle dog mix. Size: 45lbs. Training: leash, crate, & doing great with housetraining. Glock has lived all of his short life on a chain, so he will need guidance. He does know to sit, shake, on command, & eager to learn more Good with dogs? Yes. Good with men/women/kids? Yes. Personality: friendly & outgoing. Reason for rescue: owner surrender, abandoned. Glock is neutered, microchipped & up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. He tested heartworm positive. He will be sent home with a year supply of heartworm preventative along with medication. Based on our vets recommendation, he is being treated with a method called the slow kill treatment. He takes a monthly Ivermectin based heartworm preventative until a negative test, usually within a year. Please feel free to research and talk this over with your vet.
