Showing up is the first step to a thriving community! If you live, work, or play in Noble County, join us for Noblepalooza! Introducing Noblepalooza - the first-ever countywide community expo! Who should attend? Everyone and anyone who lives, works, or plays in Noble County, Indiana and any of its communities. Why should someone attend? Because the first step to creating a thriving community is to "show up"!To meet and discover people, places, organizations, and opportunities.To discover and explore what you are passionate about in Noble County.To meet others who share your passions.To share what you need from the community in order to thrive.To learn what you don't already know about Noble County.To help preserve and protect the things that matter to you in Noble County.To eat, drink, socialize, and celebrate all that is Noble County, Indiana.What should attendees expect? Admission to Noblepalooza is free. Parking is free. Attendees will enter the Community Learning Center on Riley Street and find the expo on the first floor, just inside and to the left in the gymnasium. Some exhibits may also be in the adjoining multipurpose room. Expect to see dozens of exhibits, enjoy food and drinks, and explore to meet and learn more about the community from people and organizations that are already helping Noble County Thrive by living the "Five Pillars of Thrive": Entrepreneurial Growth - highlighting locally-owned businesses and people and organizations who nurture and support new entrepreneurs and local business expansion. Eight of every 10 business entities in Noble County employ fewer than 10 people and only 1% of all new jobs are created through business attraction to the county.Youth Engagement - highlighting people and organizations who value the importance of engaging youth to help them discover careers and create a sense of ownership to develop and retain talent, and attract more families to the community and reverse the decline of population among those under 18 years of age.Leadership Development - highlighting people and organizations who recognize that leaders are not born, they are made; and who strive to provide opportunities for individuals to participate, communicate, learn, and grow as they pursue what they are most passionate about in the community.Community Investment - highlighting people and organizations who understand that if a community is not investing, it is dying. Noble County offers infinite opportunities to give time, talent, and treasure to sustain a thriving community.Cultural Enhancement - highlighting people, places, and organizations that provide opportunities for individuals to pursue, preserve, and become immersed in whatever they are most passionate about to enrich lives.
