Join us for our annual Rain Barrel Workshop. This year's class will be held in partnership with the Louisville Grows Healthy house. Have you ever wanted to capture some of the 50 inches of annual rainfall we get in Kentucky? Does installing a rain barrel to your existing gutters seem intimidating? Let us help you in our workshop. Each participant will have the opportunity to watch installation from start to finish, receive a rain barrel and a rain barrel kit. Masks are required for participants. Our mission is to conserve and assist in the development of all renewable natural resources within Jefferson County, KY. In so doing, the district is authorized to undertake, sponsor, or participate in projects and activities which promote the conservation, development, maintenance and use of the land, water, trees and other renewable natural resources of the district.
